Darin J. Steward received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri in 1989. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the states of Missouri and Oklahoma as well as being a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Oklahoma Society of CPAs.

Darin's initial employment was with a regional public accounting firm. During his 4-year tenure in public accounting he conducted financial audits, worked on healthcare issues such as Medicare consulting, and built the firm's accounting software practice for its Tulsa office.

Following public accounting, Darin was employed by a publicly traded company in Tulsa as their Internal Auditor and MIS Director. During his years there, he implemented Sage MAS 90 at their 9 locations and ultimately moved them into a wide area network configuration with one Sage MAS 90 server in the Tulsa Corporate Office.

Darin established Steward Consulting in 1993 as a part time consulting practice, and the company quickly grew to a full time business. Today, under his leadership, the firm continues to grow and gain recognition as one of the top Sage Business Partners in the U.S. Darin is also a published author and noted speaker for various functions with Sage Software and their CPA Alliance program. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Sage Leadership Academy, as well as a nominee to Sage Software's Business Partner Advisory Council for Sage 100, allowing a unique opportunity to give direct input into the design specifications of the future Sage 100 features and functionality.
